My supply address is not as I expect: What should I do?

What really matters to us is the NMI; so long as that number is correct your energy will flow to you correctly.

Let us know if you have real concern but if the supply address is only slightly different to what you expect, you shouldn't need to worry about it.

Your meter street address may be different from your postal street address for various reasons (e.g. if your property is on a street corner) but that has no real effect on our supply of energy to you.

What matters to us is that we have the correct NMI (National Meter Identifier). So long as that number is correct we will correctly supply energy to you.

Exceptions to this might be:

  • if you think the supply address refers to someone else's property nearby
  • if you feel that meter readers consistently find it difficult to find your meter
  • if you think the supply address is so wrong it couldn't possibly be right

If in doubt, please reach out. It will be easier to correct early than late.
